Privacy Policy for AmbuFast Pilots (Drivers)
AmbuFast ("we," "us," or "our"), powered by SafeCare24/7 Medical Services Limited, is committed to protecting the privacy of our drivers (Pilots). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use the AmbuFast Driver mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
To provide emergency medical transportation services and verify your professional status, we collect the following:
A. Personal & Professional Information
- Profile Data: Name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and blood group.
- Identity Verification: Driver's license number, category, expiry date, and photos of the front and back of your license card.
B. Vehicle & Compliance Data
To ensure all ambulances meet safety standards, we collect:
- Vehicle Identity: Brand and model, manufacturing year, and vehicle registration number (e.g., Chatto Metro-Cha 15-1515).
- Visual Verification: Photos of the vehicle and the official vehicle registration sticker.
- Regulatory Compliance: Insurance provider details, insurance expiry date, fitness certificate expiry, road permit expiry, and emission test status.
C. Precise Location Data
- Real-time Tracking: We collect your precise location (GPS and network-based) to identify your proximity to patients and provide real-time tracking for the ambulance requester.
2. Location Access (Foreground & Background)
Crucial Disclosure: AmbuFast collects precise location data to enable ambulance dispatch and real-time tracking of the vehicle's arrival, even when the app is closed or not in use (in the background).
- This background tracking ensures that even if you minimize the app while navigating to a patient, the system can provide accurate ETAs and location updates to the patient and dispatch center.
- You can manage location permissions in your device settings, but disabling background location will prevent you from receiving new trip requests or utilizing the "Down Trip" feature.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Facilitate Bookings: To connect you with patients and calculate ETAs based on your current position.
- Verification & Trust: To display your "Verified" badge and 4.7-star rating to users, ensuring service quality.
- Optimize Earnings: To provide features like "Down Trip," which helps you secure return trips and eliminate empty returns.
- Compliance Management: To monitor expiry dates for your license and vehicle papers, ensuring you remain legally eligible to drive.
- Communication: To send SOS alerts, booking confirmations, and "Trips Completed" summaries via push notifications.
4. Sharing of Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with:
- Patients/Users: Your name, photo, phone number, vehicle registration, and real-time location are shared with the user who booked your ambulance.
- Legal Authorities: We may disclose information if required by Bangladesh law to comply with legal processes (e.g., BIN 006954405-0102).
5. Data Security & Retention
- Encryption: All sensitive professional documents and location data are encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS technology.
- Certification: Our data practices are governed by our ISO 9001 & 27001 certification, ensuring international security standards.
- Retention: We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide services and, after account deletion, for up to 30 days to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time.
- In-App Deletion: Go to Account > Security & Privacy > Delete Account to remove your profile and associated data.
- Web Request: If you cannot access the app, request deletion at https://contact.ambufast.net.
- Requests are processed within 3 days, subject to legal data retention requirements.
